What Is Cyst

Pilonidal Cysts: These cysts form near the tailbone and are often the result of an ingrown hair or infection. They can be painful and require medical attention.

Cysts can sometimes go away on their own, but others may require medical treatment. Treatment options may include draining the cyst, medications, or, in some cases, surgical removal. The specific treatment depends on the type and location of the cyst and whether it is causing symptoms or complications.
