The term "acne" can be translated to Marathi as "मुखद्वार्य" (mukhadwarya) or "मुखाचा फुंद" (mukhacha phund). Acne is a common skin condition characterized by the presence of pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, and sometimes deeper cysts or nodules on the skin, often on the face, neck, chest, back, or shoulders. It is typically associated with the inflammation and clogging of hair follicles and sebaceous (oil) glands in the skin.
